| Charlie passed away in late 2004 after a long confinement following a stroke. He had been at the Beverly Health Care Brandywine Center, Gallatin, TN, for several years.
Best known for starting the famous Belle Of The Dell under her original name Lena Co-ed. He showed her to Ohio State Fair Fine Harness wins (Mare, Amateur and Grand Chamionship) in 1955 for Dr. Bachtel of Canton, OH, before she was sold to Dodge Stables.
